Weird Statistic

I just read some crazy statistic that said that 1% of the population in America owns 66% of its wealth. I really hope that's not true or at least severely exaggerated because if its not then this country is in a terrible state of affairs. Its ridiculous that such a small percent of people could have that much. They basically own those of us who don't have that kind of money because they run all the big corporations that help run the everyday life of people. Companies like JP Morgan and others like it and their owners basically have people held hostage. Its a terrible state of affairs.
